Team Avatar Analysis

Sooo, because i was soo bored, i decided to give my opinion and analysis of "Team Avatar" from the animated series Avatar - The Last Airbender.

Aang: The last airbender left in the world after they were massacred by the Fire Nation and the main protagonist, Aang is my favourite character from the series hands down. i like his peaceful, calm, and fun-loving nature and how he is very protective of his friends and will go to great lengths to help or protect them. i also like the way he uses airbending in many different and creative ways, such as the air scooter, the air barrier, and the air swipe. Although is he biologically 12 years old, he is the Avatar and has a a duty to bring peace and balance to the world. 

Katara: The last waterbender left from the Souther Water Tribe, and Aang's love interest. Katara is a very compassionate and hopeful individual that acts as a motherly figure for the gang. When she first started, her waterbending was sloppy, but by Book 3, she exceled greatly and even has a talent for healing using water. One of my favourite moments for her was when she used Bloodbending on a fire nation soldier. If i could bend any elements, it would have to be water due to its many uses in both offense and defense.

Sokka: The funny guy/goofball of the gang and Katara's older brother. Athough he is a non-bender, the gang would be lost without him. He makes hilarious remarks and one-liners during the entire series that adds humour to the group. He also is known to have a good sense of direction and can read a map very well. Other than his trusty boomerang and sword skills taught by Master Pian Dao, he doesn't really excel in combat.

Toph: A blind eathbender recruited by the gang and also Aang's earthbending teacher. If there is one word that describes Toph it was be: awesome. Even though she was brough up in a rich and noble family, she acts like a tomboy and without her, the gang would be missing alot of pure brute bending strength. Although blind, she uses seismic sense through her feet that allows her to "see" using earthbending. She also invented Metalbending which is spectacular in its own right. 

Zuko: Crowned prince of the Fire Nation and son of Fire Lord Ozai. Zuko was once out to capture the avatar, but realized his destiny and joined the gang as Aang's firebending teacher. Although he is my least favourite, the creaters and producers did great on his character development throughout the series. He mainly uses Firebending for combat and combined with his training and agility, he is a tough foe. He is also known to be unable to bend lightning, but can successfully redirect it using a technique Iroh showed him.
